No matter how old we may be, our dad is always bigger than life! After all, dad was the one who could scare away the monsters from under our beds and in our closets and saved us from the icky bugs. His mere presence kept us from being attacked and eaten by bears during walks in the woods -- even if it was just a wooded path, in a city park, in the middle of downtown.
Father’s Day is that special time every year where we give the fathers and father figures in our lives an extra special thank you for all those times they kept the bears away, built us a tree fort, took the spiders outside, and didn’t wear black socks with sandals when out with us in public. Even if the person you call dad is actually an uncle, an older brother, an older cousin, or your mom’s best friend from way back, it’s always nice to take a special day to thank him for always being there for you, to guide you- and keep away bears.
For those larger-than-life father figures who are larger in life, sometimes it’s a challenge to find clothes that fit well and make them look great.
